We recommend that you do not size up in the Le Chameau Vierzon. Going up a full size might give you more room around the foot, but it won't necessarily solve the problem if the main issue is getting your heel past the ankle or the boot shaft.
The gusset is designed to make the boot easier to put on and take off because it allows the calf opening to expand. When taking off your boot, we advise that you wear your standard size and fully loosen the gusset to remove. If you are still finding the gusset particularly tight, then maybe the XL Vierzonords will be the ideal boot for you. Available in men's and ladies, the boot has a wider calf width, which may aid your removal of the boot and offer a more comfortable fit.
