The Denby Imperial Blue Pasta Bowl is made from high-quality stoneware, but unfortunately, it’s not designed for direct heat sources. Placing it on a hob could cause a rather dangerous result which we strongly do not recommend. Regarding oven use, Denby stoneware is not recommended for oven use. To heat the bowl slightly on a very low temperature may be okay, however it is still not recommended and could cause cracks in the bowl. Denby stoneware is microwave safe but is not designed for hob and oven use. For hob-safe and oven-safe cookware, we’d suggest checking out Denby’s cast iron range instead.
