The Deerhunter Pro Gamekeeper Jacket has a rating of WP 5000mm / MVP 5000g which is completely waterproof to British standards. While this is suitable for most uses and people, it may not be the waterproofing you need for extended exposure to rain. As you’re looking for a similar or better waterproofing than GORE-TEX, we would recommend you look at the Schoffel Ptarmigan range as all of these jackets will have the waterproofing levels you’re looking for, specifically I would look at the Schoffel Ptarmigan Cirrus which is a versatile field jacket than some of the other heavier duty shooting jackets in this range.
