The Barbour thornproof dressing would be suitable for a Belstaff jacket, as long as it is used on the waxed cotton versions (not the dry wax, Poly/cotton, or coated cotton versions). For the best results use the melted wax on a warm jacket using circular motions and paying close attention to the seams, creases and dry patches.
