The Clarks Conditioning Balm cannot be used on suede or nubuck leather, while the Clarks Solsbury Shoes are not listed as nubuck, we would be hesitant to use the balm as they do have that subtle soft nubuck feel and may have the same issues with over absorption that would be seen on nubuck. If you do decide to try the balm, we would recommend starting with a small inconspicuous area to test first – if you have a lighter coloured shoe, the balm may also darken the leather slightly.
