An Ivy cap and a flat cap are essentially the same type of hat. Both have a rounded shape, a small stiff brim in front, and are typically made of wool, tweed or cotton. The term "Ivy cap" being more commonly used in the United States and "flat cap" being used in the UK and Ireland. Although we are aware of the Ivy cap name, we advertise them all as flat caps.
