The average Welsh Collie's collar size is between a medium and a large. The medium is ideal for a dog with a collar size of 35cm or 13.78 inches and the large is ideal for a dog with a collar size of 42.5cm or 16.73 inches. The collars do have multiple holes to find the perfect fit. The medium will fit Cocker Spaniels, medium and large terriers. The large will fit Retrievers, Dalmatians, Vislas and Springer Spaniels. It is suggested that you should be able to slide two fingers between the dog's neck and the measuring tape. This will give your dog the space needed so that the dog collar is snug, but not tight. If you have an exact measurement, add an additional 5cm or 2 inches to the measurement if you haven't used the 2 finger rule.
