The Rattail cutlery is covered with Arthur Price’s 50 year guarantee, if you check out their Care and Guarantee page you may be able to get a replacement for faulty cutlery, we would suggest that you look at this first. However, there are a few solutions you could use for removing rust marks, you could soak the knives in undiluted white vinegar overnight, and scrub with a steel wool the next morning, or a Citric Acid bath, use 3 tablespoons Citric Acid to a bowl of hot water, once again scrub with wire wool the next morning, and for both rinse and dry your knives thoroughly before storing in a cool dry place. With 18/10 cutlery you shouldn't get rust, so try looking if you are covered by the Arthur Price guarantee and if they will replace it.
