The Le Creuset honey pot with silicone dipper will not prevent hygroscopy as it does not have an air-tight lid. The Le Creuset honey pot is designed for serving your favourite breakfast spreads rather than storing them. To prevent hygroscopy, we recommend only filling the pot with the desired amount of honey for breakfast time, rather than filling it with honey for storage over time. The hygroscopy process will begin to take place if honey is not kept in an air tight container and the Le Creuset honey pot lid is not sealed air tight.
