Yes, the Samuel Heath Style Moderne Oval Tilting Mirror (L6746-XL) is compatible with demister pads. The back of unframed mirrors like this, feature a sandblasted glass look, while framed styles have a continuation of the frame material to cover the back. Demisters are used to stop mirrors from misting and steaming up in bathrooms. An electrical pad is fitted to the back of the mirror and this gently increases the surface temperature of the mirror to slightly higher than the ambient temperature of the room. Demister pads can be used on metal backed mirrors, but any metal including fittings must be earthed safely.
