Do the straps pull loose from the soles like my (3) pair of Teva Tanza sandals did?

No, the straps should not pull loose. The Teva Mens Hurricane XLT2 Sandals feature the straps bonded directly into the moulded EVA footbed. Whereas, the discontinued Teva Tanza sandals featured the strap sandwiched between two different material layers. This sandwiching can create a weakness, which exacerbated by wear and tear, means the strap could pull loose. The new Teva designs are very reliable.
